  • Looking for 357 mg 200 gr hard cast data

Apr 02, 2011 · Like the title says, I picked up a box of 200 gr Cast Perf hard cast gas check bullets today and find little or no data in all my load books. The loads will be shot out of a Ruger GP100 with 4" barrel and I am wanting to push them as fast as possible with accuracy taking priority over fps. I have H110, Win 296 on hand for magnum loads, also HS6, Unique, Power Pistol.

In order to play slap bass, a bass player must think like a drummer –that is, to hit the strings with the thumb to get the right tone, the wrist must rotate in the same way a drummer's wrist does when playing the traditional, or jazz, grip.

  • .40 S&W vs. .357 Mag | Gun and Game - The Friendliest Gun .

Dec 23, 2008 · The 15.5gr 2400 load is the original Elmer Keith .357 Magnum load circa 1935. The same bullet loaded in a .38 Special case over 13.5gr of 2400 @ 1.48" oal is a copy of Elmer Keith's .38-44 load and gives 1281 fps in a 4" barrel GP100. It too is time proven effective against larger animals.

  • 180 grain .357 loads | The High Road

May 01, 2006 · The best bullets I can find are the Hornady XTP JHP's. I've got some 2400 and plan on working up some short barrel defense loads this summer. . I would use 180 grain bullets in .357 magnum if the right bullets came out. . You're forgetting about the bullet diameter and subsequent impact area. The .357 mag pushes about a 37% smaller hole .

  • .45-70 vs. .458 Win. Mag. | The High Road

Sep 21, 2004 · At 458 speeds even you need something more than just lead (jacket, solid broonze, etc). At 416/7x57 speeds ie 2400 fps you need really good bullets. IMO matching bullet construction to impact velocity & target (bullet needs to be tough enough or whatever to destroy target) is most important thing. Next is bullet placement.

  • SouthWind 2400 Sport Deck | Boating Magazine

Incorporating a batwing-shaped swim platform on the 2400 allows the motor to be mounted well beyond the cockpit. The splashwell keeps the tapered platform from being much use, but here's the tradeoff: The motor position does not impede cockpit space and is so far aft that the 2400 is one of the only outboard-powered sport boats with an adjustable, rear-facing island lounge.

Apr 06, 2011 · I read an article yesterday from Handloader magazine that had a load using 2400 that actually outperforms the classic H110 load for the 240gr bullet. This would cut about 1-2" of drop at 200yds and add another 150fpe at impact.

  • .357 and deer hunting | The High Road

Jan 17, 2007 · In the last 24 hours, I've started considering a .357 handgun, probably something like a SW 686, SW 620 or a Ruger GP100. (I'm now considering selling a K9 and replacing it with a .357 mag revolver.) I'd like to use said .357 mag revolver for both SD (in addition to my 642 in .38) and possibly for short range deer hunting.

We tried all kinds of Acu'rzr tool designs in the hopes of reshaping the noses so they would expand. But the 22 mag rimfire is an inside the case bullet, unlike the standard 22 LR rimfire which is an outside the case bullet. That means when you try to impact with pressure a 22 mag RF bullet. it doesn't reform, it drives down into the case.

  • .375 Ruger vs .375 H&H

Dec 18, 2018 · Velocities varied considerably among the rifles. I've seen a lot of 300-grain .375 H&H loads running as slow as 2,400 fps, so I was surprised to see the 300-grain DGX .375 H&H load develop a very considerable velocity bonus of 60 fps in the 22-inch LAW barrel and a whopping 140 fps extra in the 24-inch Montana Rifles barrel.

May 07, 2018 · The words, "Dangerous Game," evoke a classic image: well-heeled hunters who scour Africa's vastness for "The Big Five."
